I believe that Brad will LOVE the Harry Potter series if he likes Adventure movies. He could start off with Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone, there are only 223 pages and if he enjoys it he can continue on with the rest of the series which contains a lot more pages.
ReplyDeleteWell brad said that he likes adventure books, i really enjoyed reading these Rondo books, there is like 3 books or something like that i think. The first book is called The key to Rondo, and it is a pretty big book but none of the pages are boring, and the second one is called The wizard of Rondo its also a big book but its so interesting. I have only read and seen 2 of the Rondo books but i hveheard of more, they are very interesting books:)
ReplyDeleteI think that brad will like the indiana jones books if he likes adventure stories. They are very interesting and makes you want to keep reading them.
ReplyDeleteAwesome suggestions! Keep them coming! Thank you Marnie, Sarah and Hudson.
ReplyDeleteWell some of my favourite books that i think brad might like are: Beautiful Creatures, The Inkheart series, The book of lies, the tomorrow series, the boy in the striped pajamas, marley and me, the valley of secrets and pretty much any roald dahl book. Not all of these are adventure books but i have read them all and i loved them.....
ReplyDeleteAnd the graveyard book and tallow are really great as well...
ReplyDeletePaige, what a fabulous selection! Thank you.
ReplyDeleteHey I think a GREAT adventure book is artemis foul. I read it last year for school, it's about a thirteen year old boy who found out that there are fairies, leprichans and some other weird creatures living underground and he trys to capture one of them and he almost causes a war between the humans and the fairies. Oh and it is a sequal so if you like it enough there is another book to go onto.
ReplyDelete(oh and even though there are fairies in it, it isn't a girly book because they aren't pretty little happy dancing about fairies) and um sorry about my spelling.
ReplyDeleteHello Brad. Are you okay with books that take a while to get into, or do you prefer books that get into the interesting parts straight away? Also, do you like third or first person?
ReplyDeleteJust for now, i think The 'Eragon' series would be a good choice.
ReplyDeleteDear Brad,
ReplyDeleteI highly recomend a book called Then. Its all about a little boy fighting for freedom at war. I also like horror, do you like horror?
Haven't read it yet, but the book '47' looked pretty good. It was about historical-fiction in the slavery time. Also, Armageddon Summer {a book about the end of the world} seemed pretty good to.
ReplyDeleteCopycats, your questions are amazing!!! Such insight from one so young!!
ReplyDeleteIn fact, you're all amazing! Lucky me!
WOW Year 7.2 You just gave me heaps of ideas for my next lot of books to read. I LOVED The boy in the Striped Pyjamas. I also love the Parvana series and The Kite runner. Something about middle east books are so interesting now. Great to hear that you are all so obviously well-read!!!
ReplyDeleteHi Brad,
ReplyDeleteI have read a few adventure books and my all time favourites would have to be Shark Bait and Killer Whale. They are fantastic and they pulled me in. The headings says it all. The series is called Extreme Adventures and there are 7 books:Man Eater,Crocodile Attack,Bushfire Rescue,Killer Whale,Spider Bite,Shark Bait and Scorpion Sting. The author is Justin D'ath and I think his descriptive language is absolutely amazing. I have read two of these books and haven't got around to reading any more. I dont think you have to read them in a pacticular order so the end of the story wont leave you hanging with a question that needs to be answered.
I Know Justin D'aths Extreme Adventure series are the books for Brad!
it all sounds good, i would like a shorter book with maybe 100 pages or so that drags you into the story instead of a long one that go's on and on. Ill look into some of these books thanks.
ReplyDeleteheyy brad,
ReplyDeletemy the best book i have ever read is 'Give Peas A Chance.'By Morris Gleitzman.
has brad found a book he really enjoys yet?
