Year 7 - The Beginning of High School

Our first discussion is a simple one.

How are you enjoying high school? What are the best things about SJL? What are some of the challenges? How does SJL differ from your primary school?

    I love high school there is so much more to do here rather than at primary school. The best thing about SJL is that you get to change teachers and there are so many new people to meet! The challenges are finding classes definetely and finding people at recess and lunch. SJL is different to nulkaba because its bigger from all aspects like the population the buildings people are alot taller!!! :P

    I like SJL because of all the new classes and different teachers.Some challengers are finding different rooms on time and trying not to get lost.Im enjoying highschool because of all of the new challenges.High school is a lot different to primary school because theres a lot more people.:)

    Hey, yeh high scholl is fun!! I like it a lot better than primary, probably because you get more teachers and more subjects and you can make more friends and also your not treated like a baby by some of the teachers. I haven't come across many challenges yet, but i think i will. This school is different from primary because you don't stay in the same class all the time.

    I really like high school. It was really scary at first but I'm loving it now. The best things about school are english, science, art and lunch. Some of the challenges would probably be finding the right rooms and getting up so early. St Joseph's is way different from primary school because there are so many more more people and it is so much bigger. xx

    High School is great and I am really enjoying it, the best thing about St.Josephs is that we get to have different teachers for different subjects. Some of the hardest things is finding the rooms- it is very challenging. St.Josephs is a lot different from Primary school because you have more subjects and there is a lot mre people.

    heyy
    i am liking high school very much !
    my sister Breanna said " i hope you have Mrs merideth as a teacher" !!!
    i think the best thing about this school is that all the teachers are so nice and they all do the best they can to make us learn !!
    i have not come arcoss any challenges yet but i am sure i will !
    this high school is very different to my primary school. This school have way more teachers and heaps more classrooms and alot of people!
    i am liking this school so far !! =)

    I enjoy some parts of high school
    like SOME of the lessons but other parts are a pain like finding your way around.

    i really like high school because its bigger and there is more challenges.SJL is way more better than primary school because u get to move around more classrooms and have alot more teachers.Also you get to meet more people and make new friends

    high school is great.it is way better than primary school.
    its heaps different than primary school because there is way more classrooms!!!

    My Primary School only had 120 pupils and I knew everybody, I am finding it hard to ajust to so many people I do not know. English class is very good I'm not a fan of Maths. Everybody is nice to me at SJL

    So far kids, your comments make me think that you've had a positive start to the year...thank heavens!!! You all have every reason to be incredibly proud of yourselves as you've all settled in quickly and have demonstrated maturity beyond your years. Lucky me! I've been blessed with an awesome English class!

    high school is great and exciting theres plenty of new classes and new eachers some are good some are bad :( but.SJL is AWESOME!
